Little Joey’s offers a full-time program focused on social-emotional development, creativity, STEM exploration, and early learning foundations all within a warm, home-based environment.
Children experience guided social interaction and emotional skill building, early literacy and foundational math activities, creative art and imaginative play, hands-on STEM exploration, and daily outdoor time and movement.
We intentionally maintain a small group size so each child feels seen, supported, and encouraged.
We are currently enrolling children ages 1-3 years old.
Meet Your Instructors
Jo - Operating Owner and Founder
I opened Little Joey’s to create a space where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our program focuses on social-emotional development while encouraging creativity, STEM exploration, identity, independence, and community. I believe in collaborating with children through authentic learning experiences that build confidence and curiosity.
At Little Joey’s, we value high-quality care, strong partnerships with families, and creating a space where every child feels seen, heard, and deeply cared for.
Christian - Staff
As a mom and caregiver with experience working in school settings, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, seen, and supported as they grow.
At Little Joey’s, I help foster a nurturing environment that prioritizes social-emotional development, creativity, and independence. I am committed to partnering with families and supporting each child’s confidence and curiosity as they grow at their own pace in our care.
Our Philosophy
The “Joey” Approach
At Little Joey’s In-Home Day Care, we believe childhood is a season of wonder, discovery, and foundational growth.
Children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for. That’s why we create a nurturing home environment where every child is seen as an individual — with unique strengths, interests, and learning styles.
We believe in learning through play and exploration, building strong social and emotional foundations, encouraging curiosity and creativity, and partnering closely with families.
Our goal is to provide structure without pressure, guidance without fear, and learning that feels joyful and natural. When children feel secure, they grow with confidence.
At Little Joey’s, we are not just caring for children — we are helping shape the foundation of who they are becoming.
“If we give our children sound self-love, they will be able to deal with whatever life puts before them.”
— Bell Hooks
