Enrolling Now for Winter 2025!
Philosophy
At Little Joey’s, we value individualized care. We believe each child’s educational journey should be full of laughter, growth, and independence. With a small group size and a focus on play, we provide a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We tailor activities to each child’s unique needs, fostering creativity and a love for learning. Our play-based approach ensures that children develop essential social and cognitive skills in a fun, engaging manner. At Little Joey’s, we create a home away from home where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.
Education
The play-based, emergent curriculum allows us to focus on the child’s interests. We seamlessly include academics into everyday opportunities while allowing children to explore and discover at their own pace. Our approach integrates math, science, literacy, and the arts into playful, engaging activities that stimulate curiosity and a love for learning. Observing and responding to each child's unique interests and developmental stage creates a dynamic learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth. At Little Joey’s, learning will be a joyful adventure where children are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and celebrate their achievements.
Community
At Little Joey’s, we value community and believe in connecting with our surroundings. We will take short walks to the nearby park to explore the playground or enjoy a picnic in the field. We will also focus on growing fruits and veggies in our backyard.
Later in the year, we look forward to taking wagon rides to our public library, where children can discover the joy of books and storytelling. These outings provide fun and adventure and help children build a sense of belonging and appreciation for their community!
